Which way to get found fits you?
There's no single right answer. Here is a plain look at the usual options, who each suits, and when markora is not the right choice.
The options
- Doing it yourself. Free in money, costly in time. It works if you have the hours and enjoy it, though it's often the first thing to slip when a release or a busy week arrives. Best for people who have time and want to learn.
- Tools. Schedulers, writing assistants and SEO software give you data, drafts or a way to post. You still decide what to do and where, and you do it. Best for people who know what to do and want to do it faster.
- Paid ads. Fast and predictable, and they stop when the budget does. Best for an offer you need to sell this month and can pay to promote.
- An agency. Can take the whole job, and the right one is worth it. Scope and price vary widely, so ask what's included, who does the work and what you own at the end. Best for larger budgets and broader needs.
- markora. Done for you, by software and people together. We audit, write for each place, you approve, and a monthly report shows what moved. Best for new businesses with a real product and no time or budget for the rest.
Questions to ask any provider, including us
- Who does the work? And who checks it before it goes out?
- What do I own at the end? Accounts, content and data should be yours.
- Can I leave any time? Look for a notice period you can live with.
- How will you show results? A report with numbers next to a starting point beats a promise.
- What will you never do? Fake reviews, fake accounts and guaranteed rankings are good ones to rule out.
When markora isn't the right fit
- You need sales this week. Earned attention builds over weeks and months. Ads are faster.
- You want guaranteed rankings. Nobody honestly can, and we won't pretend to.
- You don't have a product or a place yet. Come back when there's something people can try or visit.
- You work in a heavily regulated area. Health claims, investments and similar areas need specialists and a lawyer.
